Nothing like a bit of fresh air, and a mini tour around the south left coast.
Those of you who’ve been to my shows this year may well know the song ‘Many Fish To Fry’. Each verse is a different possible future for me, and in the last one I open a sandwich shop where I spend so much time and money making amazing sandwiches for people I inevitably make a loss. Hence the name ‘Jake Morley’s Famously Lossmaking Sandwich Emporium Shop’.
Looking around parts of Cornwall on this recent tour made me think that the south west wouldn’t be a bad location for this at all. My friend Daisy could make cakes, and I could put on live music too. Interesting idea…. but not for just yet.
A massive thank you to Tony Davies in Poole too who is helping us so much at the moment. He set up a fantastic show at Mr Kyp’s and I just loved every minute of the gig and spending time with his lovely family. Thank you also to everyone who ventured out for it – I hope you’ll come again when we’re next passing through.
Tony’s festival, Tonefest, is a fixture of my calendar every year and I wouldn’t miss it for the world. Get your tickets now!
