Very sadly I’ve had to reschedule two of the dates on the tour – Newport and Nottingham.
But I’m doing it for good reason – I’m confirmed as main support for Joe Bonamassa’s two nights at the Hammersmith Apollo on 21st and 22nd October.
Firstly – I’m so sorry to anyone who’s bought a ticket to either of the two postponed shows. We’ve rearranged the dates to be part of our Spring tour in March, and your tickets will be valid for those gigs. Or if you’d prefer a refund just contact the place you bought them from.
Secondly – AGHGHahahaha the bloody Apollo! I love that place! I’m impossibly excited! On my list of the top 5 places to play before I die, here’s where it sits:
1. The Royal Albert Hall
2. Hammersmith Apollo / Shepherd’s Bush Empire
3. Later With Jools Holland
4. The Astoria (impossible now cos it’s been knocked down to make way for a bloody train station) :(
5. The Scala
The arenas can take a hike.
wait a minute, Joe Bonamassa! i know him, he’s a good singer (not as good as you though), wow! you have done well to be supporting him!!
“I’ll never play the Astoria” – sounds like a song lyric!
Aaah, Notts. That’s where I saw you first and my mate got very drunk indeed. You were very cool with him as he slurred his appreciation at you. I hope this change is ace for you. What a great, great venue. Where can I get a full discography of your stuff as currently I have too many fish to fry on heavy, heavy cycle.
when you do get there we will be there to watch you, because we believe you will! seeing as if you’re going to Hammersmith Apollo, you’re on your way! ;)
Haha not playing shed bush yet Alex, but you never know…!
Sheperd’s Bush Empire!!! Wow! tours looking great that’s where Mumford and Sons did their album launch! and Hammersmith Apollo these are top places to do a gig! hope to see you soon!! :)
jake my sweet… i am again gutted that you had to cancel NOTTS.!! but all the best with you alternative gigs… i will hopefully see ya in the spring??? all being well. good move!! told ya you are a star!!! xxx
